("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you install and use
Upsella (the "App") on your Shopify store. By installing the App, you agree to the
practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect
When you install Upsella, we collect only the basic shop information necessary to operate the App on your Shopify store. This includes:
- Your Shopify store domain and shop name
- Shop owner name and email address (provided by Shopify during installation)
- Store timezone, currency, and locale settings
- Access tokens required to communicate with the Shopify API
We do not collect personal data from your customers, nor do we access sensitive financial or payment information.

How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used solely to provide and improve the Upsella service. Specifically, we use it to:
- Authenticate your store and maintain your session within the App
- Display and configure upsell offers on your storefront
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
- Send important service and account-related communications
- Improve the performance and features of the App
We will never use your information for purposes unrelated to operating the Upsella App.

Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with any third-party companies,
advertisers, or data brokers. Your store information stays with us and is used exclusively
to operate Upsella.
The only third party involved is Shopify, whose platform the App runs on.
Shopify's own privacy policy applies to data processed through their infrastructure.

Data Storage & Security
We store your data on secure servers and take reasonable technical and organisational
measures to protect it against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Access to stored
data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
While no system can be 100% secure, we are committed to keeping your data safe and
will notify you promptly in the unlikely event of a breach that affects your information.

Data Retention
We retain your store data for as long as you have Upsella installed on your Shopify store.
When you uninstall the App, we will delete your store data from our systems within
48 hours in accordance with Shopify's GDPR requirements.
You may also request immediate deletion of your data by contacting us at the email
address below.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to certain processing of your data
- Receive your data in a portable format

Cookies
Upsella is a Shopify-embedded app and does not set independent cookies on your customers'
browsers. Any session management is handled through Shopify's secure session token
mechanism (App Bridge) and does not involve third-party tracking cookies.

Children's Privacy
Upsella is a business tool intended for use by Shopify merchants and is not directed at
children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the
"Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify
you via email or through a notice within the App.

protect your information.
